Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash your cast iron skillet thoroughly with hot water and a gentle scrubber to remove any rust or debris.
  2. Dry the skillet completely with a clean towel to prevent rusting.
  3. Apply a thin layer of vegetable oil all over the skillet, inside and out.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F and place the skillet upside down inside. Bake for 1 hour.
  5. Turn off the oven and let the skillet cool inside before removing. Repeat the oiling and baking process if necessary.
