  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1.5 cups Parmesan cheese
  • 1.5 cups Panko bread crumbs
  • Lemon wedges optional for garnishing

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400F.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs until well combined.
  4. In a third dish, mix Parmesan cheese and Panko bread crumbs.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then in the eggs, and finally coat with the Parmesan-Panko mixture.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the coated chicken breasts inside.
  7. Air fry for 6 minutes, then flip, spray again, and cook for another 5 minutes until cooked through and crispy.
  8. Remove from the air fryer, rest for 5 minutes, then serve with lemon wedges and your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra crispiness, spray the coated chicken with additional cooking spray halfway through cooking.
